Red Mandarine is a sweet, happy oil. Similar to Tangerine Essential Oil, it will uplift your spirit, soothe your mind for a peaceful sleep, calm your digestion, and help you deal with stress. As a purifying oil, Red Mandarine helps to detoxify the body by cleansing waste products and toxins while supporting the natural cleansing functions of the kidneys and liver. Due to this detox effect, it also increases tissue blood flow and lymph drainage and may also help as a general blood purifier. For children, it is very soothing. Quality & Purity
Amrita bases its sourcing of essential oils and other products on a holistic approach. Amrita aims for the most natural products possible. In fact, every one of Amrita's essential oils has been verified for purity and authenticity by gas chromatograph. Oils are never diluted, industrially processed, or chemically manipulated. GMO and single synthetic ingredients are never used. For formulations, only compatible ingredients that support each other's actions are blended together so that a benefit to one area of health never causes an imbalance in another.

This product is manufactured according to the cGMP Standards and Inspection. Tests before, during, and after processing guarantee uniform quality and purity. Quality manufacturing practices are essential to the integrity of professionally oriented natural health products. That is why our dispensary is independently registered by NSF® to meet cGMP requirements for the brands we carry. NSF International audits each of our facilities twice per year. Together, we offer industry-leading shipping times and reliability. Orders placed before 4:30 PM EST are processed and shipped the same day and will arrive at your door within days.

Therapeutic Benefits

Red Mandarine Essential Oil is a refreshing, uplifting oil that brings sunshine and peace to even the most trying day. Its aroma is bittersweet and citrusy with a bottom note that leaves you in a refreshing pool of sweetness. Red Mandarine is an excellent and delicious-smelling non-toxic choice for a peaceful nights sleep, soothing digestion, and relaxing an anxious mind. It’s upbeat, sweet, and very soothing to children. As a purifying oil, Red Mandarine helps to detoxify the body by cleansing waste products and toxins from the body and supports the natural cleansing functions of the kidneys and liver. Due to this detoxification effect, it also increases tissue blood flow and lymph drainage and may also help as a general blood purifier.

Red Mandarine Oil has therapeutically similar benefits to Tangerine and Orange Oil, but its scent is considered tarter and more complex than Tangerine. Its calming properties are also more pronounced. Following is a list of conditions Red Mandarine Essential Oil addresses by category:

  • Sleep aid for children and adults: Diffuse in room, aromatic bath.
  • Flatulence, intestinal discomfort (for adults and children): Topical application - rub on stomach.
  • Anxiety and nerves: Diffusion.
  • Lymph drainage and other circulatory issues: Whole body massage, aromatic bath.

Suggested Use
Dilution Requirements:
  • For use on the skin (topical application), dilute up to 3-5% in any carrier oil.
  • For whole body massage, use essential oil up to 2% maximum in any carrier oil. 2% is approximately 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of essential oil per 1 cup (250 ml) of carrier oil, or about 10 drops essential oil to a tablespoon (15 ml) of carrier oil.

Conditions:
  • Anxiety and nerves: Diffusion.
  • Lymph drainage and other circulatory issues: Whole body massage, aromatic bath.

Safety Precautions:
  • Non-toxic, non-irritating and non-sensitizing.

General Safety Precautions:
  • Use essential oils only in diluted form on the skin and never internally. Always be careful when using essential oils with children. Give them only low doses, or better, consult a qualified aromatherapy expert before using. Also, use essential oils with care and only under the proper guidance of an expert while pregnant or if you have liver damage, epilepsy, cancer, or other serious health problems.

Origin
Traditional Uses:
  • The bright orange Mandarine fruit are believed to be named after Mandarin Chinese. Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine practitioners have used Mandarin peels for centuries to aid digestion and are symbols of good luck and fortune, given traditionally as gifts for Chinese New Year. Mandarine oil is a popular flavoring agent for candies, drinks, and liquors.

About the Plant:
  • Manderines grow on an evergreen tree, which grows up to 18 feet high. The tree has glossy leaves producing fragrant white flowers and bearing green fruits turning to orange when ripe. Although the Tangerine and Mandarine are very similar, the Tangerine fruit is larger than the Mandarine, and rounder, with a more yellow-hued skin.

Where it Grows:
  • Native to southern China and the Far East. Brought to Europe in 1805 and to America forty years later.

Family:
  • Rutaceae
